Happy Easter!!!

You should have completed and mailed me your yearend reports.  I would like to express my appreciation for every report you have sent me.  Your participation (working through our youth) has shown me our sisters have been “United By Love for Our Veterans and Country.”  The strength you have demonstrated as sisters of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars in North Carolina by working through our youth and reaching out into our communities make everyone know that “Strength Lies in Unity.”  When you encourage a child to have these values you have bettered our future and their future also.  They are truly our Pot of Gold.

Thank you again for all you hard work, but now is not the time to quit.  Let’s start on next year.

Easter Egg hunts are fun.  Please don’t let our youth (post children), Scouts, Junior ROTC and other youth groups forget our military heroes.  Consider visits to the V.A. Hospitals and nursing home.  Making cards, tray favors.  Preparing meals are only a few ways to express our appreciation for their great sacrifice for our freedom.

I look forward now to completing my reports and results.  I give you a special thank you for your participation in the Young American Creative Patriotic Art.
