       Happy New Year!

The enchanted forest is beautiful, a covering of snow on the ground, and softly laying on the tree branches. The sun and moon makes every flake glisten.

Make sure to get involved in school, get your brochures and posters to promote Young American Creative Patriotic Art. Make sure they know the rules and it has to be to the post by March 31 and to the Department by April 15.

            Encourage the Junior Girls to participate in the Junior Girls Scholarship Program. If anyone needs more information, let us know. All materials have to be turned in to me by March 25^th.  First place winner will receive$7,500 scholarship and a plaque from National. National will also give $100 to each state winner.

            I hope by now, you have contacted a nearby Girl Scout Unit. You need your Girl Scout Awards from National. Show them how we appreciate their patriotism.

            We hope you did involve your Junior ROTC in your ceremonies, if not remember to visit them and maybe adopt their unit, and make a contribution to some of their needs.

            Don’t forget to promote outstanding young volunteers of the year Department of North Carolina.

            We are still looking for that pot of gold!!
