We are off and running through the enchanted forest, we are in a mad dash; our youth is scampering all about us, all trying to find our pot of gold. Janice is still blazing the trail encouraging every one of them to be “United by Love for our Veterans and Country.” We must let them know to stay on the right path their “Strength lies in Unity.”
To keep our youth on the path they are all in school. Now is the time to get the Young American Creative Patriotic Art contest information to the school. They now have colorful posters available to entice our students through their artistic ability to earn money for their education. They can hang them right beside the VOD posters. Remember our Commitments to VOD and Patriot’s Pen contest. Let our youth spread their magic dust all over the nation.
Now our country is in such unsettled times, it is very important for us to try and arrange a visit to our school and show flag etiquette. Encourage our high school students to learn to lobby by mail and e-mail to let our government know their feelings on issues of today.
Support our National Programs “Youth Groups supporting our Military Heroes” This involves Junior Girls, Junior ROTC, Scouts, and other youth groups. A National Citation will be awarded to any youth group named for their efforts in supporting our military heroes. Awards will be mailed directly to youth groups.
You can get your youth to collect can goods for the needy and shut in. Everyone can help deliver them on October 24th (Make a Difference Day).
Remember “Our Strength Lies in Unity.” Do you see the rainbow yet?
