WELCOME TO 2011!  Yes, it is a new year and I hope all of you had a Merry Christmas and,

I wish for each of you a Happy New Year.

 It is hard to believe our Auxiliary year is half over.   Let’s all remember our men and women on foreign soil, protecting our freedoms, and remember the families they have left behind. Assist families that need help, you will find that assisting families of troops that have been deployed will be rewarding.

 As you know, members that have not paid their membership dues for the 2010-2011 year are not in good standing.  Please do not lose those members; they are an asset to your Auxiliary.

Why not get a telephone committee together, and call each member that has not paid.  You may find they have not paid their dues because of a hardship due to sickness or job loss.  Your Auxiliary may want to help these members by paying their dues, and you know these can be paid from your RELIEF FUND.

 

Every member should be involved and made to feel a part of the Membership Program.

Some MEMBERSHIP BUILDERS ARE:

            Activities in Community Service

            Americanism and Youth Programs

            Dances, dinners and other social functions

            Interesting meetings

            An active VFW that supports the Ladies Auxiliary VFW

Working together, showing enthusiasm and excitement about the work of your Auxiliary as

a team, many goals can be reached.

2012-Apr-22 - Time to make offtop. Is it possible to damage your skin by washing it too much? That thing is bothering me.
