CHAPLAINS CORNER

December 2010

Sisters we have just had a wonderful Thanksgiving with many family and friends gathering together to celebrate the first breaking of bread for America so many years ago, maintaining that tradition from generation to generation.

But now we are looking forward to times of Joyous Celebrations of Christmas and all it hold dear to all of us from the birth of Jesus to joyous holiday giving amongst family and friends. Be mindful that our military men and women who are serving our great country are away from home without family and friends pray for them, send cards, bake cookies dig in and get a box together to send something to say “Thank You”.  Visit the VA Hospital and Nursing Homes, take care of those who have served give them a bible, a card or just a token of appreciation. Don’t forget the families of those who paid the ultimate price for our freedom help them through the rough holiday season. Check on our Sisters and Comrades to see if all is well.  Love and giving is the spirit of our hearts and our organization.  I pray daily for us to have a great year without strife and instead one full of love and respect for our sisters. 

I have received a few more reports and I just think the ‘lil Irish people may be making off with those reports.    At our next C of A please join us come out on Sunday Morning and sing along with us and listen to Pastor show us the way.  Remember this for this month: It’s NOT about us but about those who have and are serving our country.

Walk with the LORD when your Heart needs company.

Turn to him when you need someone to lean on

HE is the only one you can rely on.

GOD never closes a door without opening a window.

He always gives us something better when he takes something away.
