            Now that your year end reports are done, we begin working on the new reporting year. Easter is coming and how nice it would be to remember our hospitalized on one of the most holy of Christian holidays as well as one of great fun with egg hunts. It is also a time of beautiful pastel colors of Easter and vibrant colors of blooming trees and flowers. With little effort you can help to bring smiles and pleasant memories of family and childhood days to the infirm.

So, what can you do at the VA? Well, as many of you know or may not know, the Community Living Center has been under quarantine for more than a month and hopefully, it will be lifted by the time you get this mail. The residents will be dying for some serious uplifting and brightening of spirits.  You can send colored plastic sugar-free candy filled eggs or have you seen the tiny little flowering pots at CVS or Michaels with seeds/soil to grow miniature roses, forget-me-nots, and violets? They’re great! And, they’re under a $1.

You know how much I like cut-outs. Here’s a sample of a card you can reproduce on a copier to make a template of several to a sheet, print it out on cardstock, and cut them out. If you wish, you can glue on a cotton ball for a tail, color it, and mail it to Charles George VAMC, Att: Voluntary Service, 1100 Tunnel Road, Asheville, NC 28805 If you want me to send you a template, call, email or text me. 2012-Mar-20 - Re: When you're in not good state and have no cash to get out from that point, you would have to receive the personal loans. Because it would help you for sure. I get term loan every year and feel OK just because of this.
