FAYETTEVILLE VA MEDICAL CENTER.
April 2011
"OUR STRENGTH LIES IN UNITY" for our hospitalized veterans means we must continue to use our "Volunteerism" in showing them we care, in which we are doing a great job, let’s keep it up sisters, by planning for EASTER, LOYALTY
Many thanks to the following Auxiliaries for their donations of either money or much needed items, #2057, Rocky Mount, #8094, Bayboro & #10630, Hope Mills and of course to those that I don't have knowledge of, again thanks & much appreciation.
Also to the Department Ladies Auxiliary, for the $600.00 check that I presented to the VA Medical Center on Feb.9th, as our Dept. President Janice could not make her official visit until April, therefore she authorized our Dept, Treasurer Jeanne to write the check, for me to present as they could use it
then, Thank you Janice. Also, I'd like to thank our Department Commander Doug for authorizing Ms Betty Goolsby (Director of the Fayetteville VA Medical Center) to speak at the Joint Session of our February 5th.
